He smiled at her before he walked over to the chest of drawer and took out her collar then it was her turn to smile as he fastened it around her neck.

He found himself choked for words as he looked down at her.

She frowned at his expression.  “What’s wrong?”

“It just means so much…that you wear it…just for me.”

He saw tears forming in her eyes and he swiped them away with his thumb.

“Nick, I’d do anything for you.  You do know that?”

“Yes, but the way you submit to me, well, it’s a beautiful thing.  I own you, but you hold all the power.  When you look at me that way, you nearly bring me to my knees…”

She reached forward and kissed him gently.

After she had broken their sweet kiss, she fluttered her eyelashes at him.

Coffee time

A watched kettle never boils? That’s far from the truth. I’m watching, it’s boiling. I always wait until the switch clicks off before I scoop the heaped teaspoon of coffee (and two of sugar) into the mug.
